Our firm represents a number of investors regarding commercial and residential properties, offices and shops in shopping centers, hotels, rooftops and condominium houses. We render legal services for many institutional and private investors in various real estate transactions.
We provide full legal advice and background to investment and development activities. We prepare and negotiate the sale, rent, lease and other contracts and take care of the related administration.

Corporate law:

We provide full legal assistance to the establishment of Hungarian companies - especially Ltd and PLC formation. We prepare the statutes of the company, all additional documents and take care of the court registration, registration with tax, social security authorities and, if it is needed, at the commerce and industry authorities. We give legal assistance in sale of corporate interests, shares and stock and in buying and selling entire business companies (M & A). We create the companies’ internal organizational and operational regulations.

Financial law:

Our office arranges the legal background work (financial and complementary financial services) for the investments, financial intermediation of a number of internationally active companies. Our office has wide ranging, complex and up-to-date experience in the field of banking, factoring, leasing and financial intermediaries. Some of our lawyers, both through their previous and current professional experience, are in close working relationships with the financial supervisory authorities.

Employment Law:

We regularly advise our clients on various kinds of labour matters, including the preparation of executive employee and general labour contracts, drafting and/or revision of collective bargaining agreements, representation in legal disputes arising from liabilities pursuant to the employment relationship and the termination of agreements, as well as the obtaining of labour permits for foreign employees and the issuing of legal opinions on other related labour issues.

Considering the accelerating business development and needs to keep pace with its speed our office provides legal advice on a variety of telecommunications and information technology fields.

Civil litigation practice:

Keeping in mind the interest of our clients we do our utmost to find an amicable and fair out-of-court solution to commercial or business disputes. In case of necessity, however, we effectively represent our clients' interests in civil litigation matters, all around the country.

Administrative procedures, legal actions:

Our office provides legal representation in administrative proceedings such as at the construction authority, the Hungarian Competition Authority, the Hungarian Financial Supervisory Authority and the Hungarian Tax and Financial Control Administration. We undertake legal representation in litigation against administrative bodies as well.

European Community Law:

After Hungary's accession to the Community on May 1, 2004 it is essential for all businesses in Hungary, especially for those who do business with EU-companies, to cope with acquis communautaires of the Community. Our office will help to clarify any legal issues which arise and to provide representation in proceedings before the European Court.

Arbitration Practice:

Clients represented a serious experience in the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and the Permanent Court of Arbitration or other proceedings before tribunals.

As we had been instrumental in a number of cases heard by the Arbitration Courts of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and other Arbitration Court proceedings we have wide range experience in these fields as well.

Academic Backgrounds:

Among the cooperating lawyers, Dr. Madarassy Tamás works as Assistant Professor teaching international company / contract law at the Corvinus University (Faculty of Economics). His main research areas are investment protection and corporate governance.
